Brief
As a group you will pick a well-known traditional story and re-imagine it for the modern world. you will divide it up into sections and the in smaller groups or individually you will produce a series of shots for each section. you will connect all the shots in a video sequence or slideshow to present in week 6
we decided as a group to make the red riding hood story modern by changing the wolf into a kidnapper to make it something that could actually happen in real life, we also changed some of the characters to be played by different genders for example the hero (previously the woodcutter) is now played by a girl.
My Scene
I was responsible for scene 4 what was the action scene so i wanted to use the first panel revealing the face of the wolf character, i then used the next 3 panels to show the wolf assaulting red riding hood, i used 3 frames for this as i wanted to show it was quite a fast scene as the wolf overpowers her easily. the last 2 panels are of red riding hood getting tied up to show she has been captured and is helpless, in the final frame you also see the relative that little red riding hood was meant to be meeting in the background showing she has also been captured.
Editing
when editing the images we decided as a group that we would make them black and white with little red riding hoods jumper staying red to reference the red as well as show danger.
